You all know that I share numbers when I can.
This past weekend, The Reluctant climbed the Amazon charts for a second time.  That happens with books, but usually it involves a well known author lowering the price to gain exposure.  Then, when the book is high on the charts, they bump the price back up and make some money off the chart position.

Amazon is offering a new “service” called KDP select.  Offer your books exclusively through Amazon’s KDP program and you get a shot at a pool of money if you follow the program perfectly and cut out EVERY other avenue of distribution.  That pool of money is not all that large considering how many eBooks are available through Amazon.

I wrote about it more extensively before, but I will just say again: the: thank you to the people who worked sooo hard to make this happen.  All proceeds go directly to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  The short stories are FANTASTIC!

I am breaking a personal rule here.  I do not do reviews as C.S. Will anyone else ever read the story?  Maybe.  Will they like it, is it any good?  I have no idea.

I had just always wanted to write a book.  Most of my life, I have read fiction.  Scifi and fantasy in particular, I get enough reality in my every day life.  A little escape is good.
